Craig Spiesman, now a retired Restoration Account Manager, hails from a middle-class background in Parsippany, NJ. Now living in Georgia, his life is a rich tapestry of hobbies, community activities, and treasured family gatherings. His journey into amateur photography began with travels across the Southeastern United States and numerous visits to the Hawaiian Islands. Using just an iPhone, he captured the serene landscapes of Northern Georgia, the stunning shores of Hilton Head Island, and the enchanting small towns scattered across the Southeast. His photos include breathtaking sunsets in Kauai, candid moments of him and Cindy playing golf and relaxing on Maui's beaches, and the extraordinary vistas from Maui's Haleakala volcano and Kauai's Napali Coast. Craig is also an avid golfer, though he humorously admits his swing could use some grace. He regularly plays at local courses around the Atlanta suburbs and enjoys the camaraderie with other golf enthusiasts. Billiards is another pastime; on Wednesday evenings, he can be found at his community clubhouse, engaging in friendly billiards matches with neighbors and celebrating recent wins in his weekly 8-ball pool tournaments. Family is central to his life. He and Cindy moved back to Georgia to be close to her family—four generations within a half-hour drive. Sunday lunches at his cousin-in-law Chris and Gail's place are a highlight, where stories from the past mix with laughter over comfort food. He treasures these moments of familial warmth and the memories they create. Active in their local church, Craig and his wife attend Southside Church every Sunday. They find great inspiration from Pastor Jeff and Assistant Pastor Allen, whose messages give them strength and positivity for the week ahead. His commitment extends beyond spiritual attendance; he is deeply involved in community service. Living in a 55+ community, he sees the importance of supporting neighbors with household tasks, embodying the community spirit of helping one another. An unexpected delight in his retirement has been pickleball. After moving to Georgia, he picked up the sport at his community court, quickly falling in love with its fast pace and lively social interactions. Craig finds joy in the spirited games and the camaraderie among players. Craig and Cindy's exploration of Georgia continues to enrich their retirement. From indulging in local peach cobbler to relaxing couples' massages at resorts, they savor the state's offerings. His iPhone remains a constant companion, capturing the misty mornings over golf course lakes and the pristine beaches of Tybee Island.
